Week 3- Blogging & Notes

So I am really finding myself enjoying class…and feeling overwhelmed at the end of every class.  Although I must say that the M&M’s really helped at the end of class this past week.

I am finding myself lost at times and am wondering if anyone can offer me some advise.  There is so much information that we are taking in every class.  I am learning so much, new programs, new websites and how to do new things with programs I already knew about.  Here is my problem…I have not mastered doing to things at once: listening to what is going on while exploring and following along on my computer, and taking clear notes that I can follow later on my own.  I find that while I am in class I feel like I almost know what I am doing, things make sense and I can almost keep up.  However, I get home and try to do it again and not only am I sitting at a PC so things look a little different, but my notes are so sparse that I have no clue what I am doing.  Does anyone have any suggestions for how I can multi task enough to know what is going on in class and still be able to recreate it when I get home?

Also, I was wondering how you track and follow other wiki’s and twitters.  Prof. Ransom mention that he followed the 104 year old twitterer/blogger as she discussed her tea and visitors.  How do you get into that?  Where do you start?  And how do you even begin?
