I would like to take this week to, instead of comically dissecting tweets from NFL players, to write a tribute to what was Chad Ochocinco’s Twitter account.
Ocho shut down his Twitter account this week, citing these reasons:

Damn it Chad! This blog isn’t even a month old, and you’re leaving me with half the amount of content! Why would you quit Twitter so soon? Hell, your popularity was skyrocketing with the thing, and now you decide to quit just
Ochocinco quitting Twitter? Child please!
as it was making you more and more famous, which has always been your ultimate goal in life. Why would you do this? It doesn’t make any sense.
Not that you’ve ever made much sense, but damn it all, you are a hell of a piece of entertainment. Your scenes on Hard Knocks plus your tweets has not only increased our looking at the Bengals, but has made you even more headline stealing than you Twitter counterpart, Terrell Owens. Why quit at the top of your celebrity game?
I implore you Chad – get back on Twitter. Give us all something to look forward to when we log in.
It would all help us get through this daily grind we call life.
