:::Graffiti is being Blackballed:::

Earlier this week R’n'B singer Chris Brown was infuriated after a number of his fans informed him that major retailers in the U.S were blackballing his new album release Graffitti. This resulted in him deleting his twitter account under the pseudonym Mechanical Dummy.

You can’t deny his remarkable talent and from previewing a couple tracks off his new album it’s safe to say that it’s a very good listen.My favourite song is “Crawl” so far it’s a heartfelt ballad that seems to mirror his remorse. Obviously from the positive response from his first single “I Can Transform Ya” he understood from a PR perspective his music had to be the driving force behind his crawl back to the top and recapturing that lost chunk of his fan base.

What I can believe is that these stores didn’t give him a chance to redeem himself…let his music speak for him and consumers make up their own minds whether they want to support him based on his moral standing. When allegations aganist musicians like R.Kelly, Michael Jackson and various others have arisen there has always been a mixed reaction among the public. All I’m saying is that I will not be a happy bunny if I can’t walk into the store and buy CB’s album soon.
